A surprise bus strike has affected thousands of users in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) since the midnight of Friday, November 7th. On one hand, the company El Nuevo Halcón S.A. announced that drivers of Line 148 will 'not provide service for an indefinite period' starting at 00:00 hs. On the other hand, an announcement from workers of other lines confirmed an 'abstention from work' also from 00:00 hs on Friday due to 'lack of payment'. The lines affected by this measure of force are: 159, 219, 372, 300, 584, 619, and 603.
